At The Vine House we utilize a Social Enterprising Model
Under the social enterprising model, social enterprises apply business solutions to social problems. The ultimate goal is to achieve sustainability by enabling non-profits to support themselves financially in innovative ways instead of relying solely on grants and donations.
Under-resourced communities are impacted by a lack of access to resources that other communities utilize to sustain such as:
• Local businesses
• Harmonious community
• Homeownership and invested individuals
We are striving towards the day where we can be a part of developing long term solutions that benefit and empower residents in under-resourced communities. We seek to achieve this by establishing businesses in the local community that hire locally and pay a livable wage, providing community meeting spaces for people to gather, and fostering opportunities for local residents to become shareholders in their neighborhoods through entrepreneurship and homeownership.
